Well I guess it's been awhile since I posted so there is lots to catch up on. We had a fun family reunion in July. It was a special time for us to all be together in a very beautiful setting. Brent and I went to see Adam be baptized and stopped at some wonderful places along the way. Last month we had a fall party with Halloween costumes and lots of candy. It was so fun to see the children in their costumes. We wish all of them could have been there but maybe someday that may happen. So here are a few pictures to share.

I just wanted to post a few thoughts I've had since Grandma died. We felt really blessed she didn't have to suffer long. She was never in pain that she complained of. She did have lots of anxiety and seemed to be aware of the changes in her body that would eventually take her life. We were able to have her in our home before she passed away, which proved to be a great blessing for all of us. We saw the hand of the Lord at work in her life and her passing was so sweet and comforting for us. We know she is in a better place with loved ones gone before and she is very happy to be with them. She was lonesome for Grandpa. She has missed him so much through these past 11 years. I know they still live on in the spirit world where they are very busy helping with the work that goes on there. I couldn't help think when little Kody had surgery a week ago, that maybe that was one of Grandma's assignments to help and comfort them. He did really well and is eating well and will start growing to catch up with his big brother. We have truly been blessed as a family. We thank the Lord daily for family that blesses our lives. Now we are battling a different battle and I know as we pull together and unite our faith with Laurie and Ken's family, we will see blessings come as a result. May each of us continue to love and pray for each other and those who need our love. I know God lives and hears and answered our prayers, we are blessed to have prophets and apostles on the earth today to give us guidance and direction for our families. May we live to honor our Savior Jesus Christ in all we do so we can return to be with him and Grandma and Grandpa again for eternity.

We took off on wednesday the 2nd, and landed in Indiana at Lynnette's and Neal's thursday night almost midnight. We had a great time. We really enjoyed visiting with them. We left the following wednesday and got home on saturday afternoon. We will never forget the wonderful things we saw and did and are so thankful for all our family, we sure do love each and everyone of them, they make our lives better because of their life and the way they are living. Here's some pictures we took on our trip, we thought you might enjoy.

Spencer came last weekend and helped Dad put in our new basement window in the family room. It gives us so much light we decided to try to finish the next one on our own, and we did it! So we just have one more to go. Then we can have the work inspected and cover up the cement. We are just going to love having more light in our basement.

We have really enjoyed having Kami home. She had a great mission, and now is off again. They don't stay around for very long, but we enjoy them when they are here. We are enjoying the Family History calling and learning alot. We have had alot of rain but that has really helped our new lawn. We needed to replant some of the old and put in some new. It looks wonderful. We will be able walk on it soon. Hope all of you have a great day.

We went to our dear friend Elena's funeral today. Her children and Grandchildren sang and played the violins, and did all the speaking. It was wonderful to see this modern day pioneer family that has sent sons and daughters on missions and now is sending Grandchildren on missions. They are a wonderful example of the way the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints blesses all those who will except and follow it's teachings. Our lives have been blessed also, because we knew and loved them.

Cali and Brian were blessed with a new baby girl. She was born Jan. 1, at 9:15 am. She was the 3rd baby that morning so we didn't get the new year's baby, but we did get our new year's baby and she's beautiful. Lots of dark hair like Klayton. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Both mom and baby are doing good. She was 20 1/2" long and weighed 6lbs, 15oz. They will call her Kessa Lin.

We had a great Thanksgiving. It was so fun to be with so many of our family. It made me excited for the day we would all be together again. Hopefully it will be next spring when Kami comes home, so we just have two more Holidays, Christmas and Easter. I have more time these days so I find myself reflecting on the past and the blessings we have been blest with. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Through the years I have seen the hand of the Lord in my life and that of our family. I know God lives and Jesus Christ is his son, and that he has a prophet on earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. I know We are blest to have the Book of mormon to read and study on a daily basis. I too, have been born of goodly parents, I am grateful for their love and sacrifices they have made for me. I hope I can be the person they would like me to be. I appreciate my husband and father to our children, he is an example to me. He always has an answer to my everyday questions and drops whatever he is doing to help when ask. I love our children, the ones we were blessed to have, and the ones that we were blessed with as they married. They are each great people to me and I appreciate their example and the many things I learn from them. I am especially blessed with 21, soon 22 grandchildren that make me feel honored to be in their presence. We will help them in anyway we can, to grow and become valiant sons and daughters, that will help in the Lord's work, in building the Kingdom of God. We have such a rich heritage of faithful ancestors that can help us stay true to the faith. When I read about their sacrifices so that we could have a better life, I feel grateful to them and want to make their lives blest because of mine. I know we will be blest as we faithfully serve others, that is the key to happiness in this life. The more we do for others the less time we spend on ourselves which causes us to love and be loved more. I hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving also and you will reflect on your life and how much the Lord has blessed you. Thank you for all you do.

We got our birthday present this week. Wow! You guys are amazing. We are so excited. Now I just have to read the book or else get some one to show me how to work it all. I did take some pictures and deleted some so now I just need to get them on the computer. Thank you all so much. We love it! We got to help in the Twin Falls Temple yesterday. It was such an awesome experience, we loved it. It really feels like our Temple. As I watched the young people come in and look at the baptism font I kept thinking this is for you. Please come back often and love the temple. If you do you will have nothing to fear, and life will be good. I appreciated the boys coming in white shirts and ties and the girls in cute dresses with their hair fixed nice and who seemed so receptive to the spirit. I know it will be a great blessing to us in our area to have a Temple to use and enjoy. So if you want to come to the temple any time we will go with you or we will help you get there just go to the temple and feel the love our Heavenly Father has for us. Have a great day.

Dad and I went to Jean's and fixed her oven today. She was so excited. They bought it 45 years ago when they moved out here and she has never had to repair anything till the heating element went out about a year ago. She and several others have been trying to find a part for this model but they just don't make them anymore. So she was willing to let us try. I told her Dad could fix anything. We checked on the internet and found just what the others had found that they had stopped making parts for this stove. So Dad took the numbers and the element to park view and they did some checking and finally after several attempts came up with one almost like it. So today we took the tools Dad thought he would need and tried our luck and it worked. I think Jean is still a little bit in shock but I hope she will enjoy having her oven so she can make all the pies she wants. She is the best cook, so now she can use her oven again and do all the fun things she enjoys. We told them we were selling the cows and Max said he had a dream that Dad and I went on a mission. He said now you can go. I was so surprised, I thought wow I guess we really are suppose to go if Max said he knew that was what we were to do. So one day probably not so far away we will let you all know how that turns out but for now we will serve the best we can on this one and hope we will be better prepared when we get to go further away. Have a nice evening and be good. Read your scriptures, say your prayer, write in your journals and don't forget to brush your teeth. One day you will be glad you did. trust me on this one.

David is helping me learn how to post. So I'll give it a try and see if you get this. I'm watching McKynli and Klayton play up and down the stairs. They are busy little ones. It is getting hot here and so we spend alot of time downstairs. I'm looking forward to spending time this weekend with some of you and wish all of you could come but maybe next year. We are still milking cows but hopefully soon that will change and give us more time to spend with all of you. That would be fun. It's great to have David home again, he's alot of help. I don't have a camera to post pictures yet but this is a new computer. We had to get a new one, ours broke a few months ago and we have been using Brian's and Cali's so this will be nice to have. Hey family, as you know, this last week we had our family reunion. We decided to put some pictures that we had on the internet so everyone can share them!
